translucence is a study of waiting, introspection and writing with light. It is about the image perceived through films and layers: light, object, lens, eye, emotion, and the mind's eye. Vision, remembrance, blindness- it is also about what we do not see.

I stare at the monitor for quite a while, thinking of what to write.

Work? Too boring.

My thumbdrive? It is dead. I got a new 1GB one for 20bucks at SLQ.

Well, my life now is quite repetitive. I will definitely do some of these tasks: 2902 gallery, running, music class, art class, meeting up friend etc.

Depending on the activities I have. I will try to pack as many tasks as possible.

I would like to try something new this holiday. Maybe a new sport or something. Learn a new skill perhaps. Doesn't matter. Just something different.

Sometimes when you look back in life, you might regret not leading your life a little more meaningful when you could.

Now, you might tell yourself: No ah.. I am happy. I am fine with my life now.

No doubt about that. However, have you thought about how your life could have changed if you would just deviate a little from the usual path. Experiment with new things. Explore new worlds.

Enough is enough. Just be on a lookout for new changes along your way of life.

You only have one life. Live it to the greatest.

Maybe things would have been different. Maybe.

We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

I think I am getting sick soon. Running nose and my throat isn't feeling so well. Hopefully by tomorrow, I will become better. I have quite a lot of things to do this week, please don't let me fall sick.

Just had dinner with Marie. Thanks for the reminder.

I think I better go get some rest now.

Because I trusted you, and I still do.

I gaze at you fervently, wishing you'd turn back.

I am late.

It's late.

Sleep well and everything will unfold itself the very next day when the sun rises again.

This morning, I had a hangover.

The night was terrible, keep turning here and there. And I dreamed of school and work!

What a way to start the weekend.

It is raining heavily now. Last time, it used to be so emo staring out looking at the droplets of water falling continuously and splashing on the ground. Now, it seems better. I wonder why?

The time has come for me to move on to the next stage of life.

Am I ready? I think not yet.

Had a hectic 4 days. I have a free day today fortunately, so I guess I could stay at home and do some work. Been returning home quite late lately due to my evening classes.

I almost forgot how nice it is to slack at home.I really wanna spend more time at home. I think and I will do just that.

A typical person spends about a quarter of his or her life studying. The next half working to make the ends meet. And the last quarter enjoying the fruits of the labour. Is that the life you want?

Certainly not me!

I know what I want in life, but I am not ambitious.
I want to feel the people around me, yet it is not easy to do so.
I hope to know my friends better, but it takes time and effort from both sides.
I want to communicate more with my family, but just think of when is the last time I really had a good talk with them?

It seems to me that the world has become colder. Or is it the people who resides in it?

Random thoughts

My off day today, so I am pretty happy. School has been stressful and busy. Made some mistakes, learn from them and hope will grow from there. Setbacks suppose to slow you down, but yet make you stronger.

That's life I suppose.

Life is pretty pack for me now,for you know what reason. There is a lot to blog about but I do not have the time yet. Will find one good day to do so.
Meanwhile hope everyone had a good holiday and weekend ahead.

One week passes by just like that.It was quite a hectic week for me, given the work shift with so much work to do and so much school work piling up waiting for me, hardly any space to breathe.

Not having much life lately, so there isn't really a lot to update on.Some friends tagged me on FB about writing 25 random things about myself. Haven really got the time to do it, and sincere apologies here.

1. I sneeze whenever I eat sweets which are cooling like mentos, Halls etc.
2. I am quite a health freak!
3. I like simplicity.
4. After watching Bryan's travelling show, I feel like travelling again.. to those places mentioned.
5 I like to break things down and do them part by part.

Therefore, that's all folks.
6.I might not remember to finish this 25 things, so I usually will warn people about it and keep their hope low.

Europe 2008- Groningen

The second day after touching down, we went to a nearby city call Groningen. It is the capital city of the province of Groningen in the Netherlands and was recommended to us as a quiet and peaceful university town.

A bit of background knowledge...

The Martinitoren (Martini Tower) is the highest church tower in the city of Groningen, The Netherlands. The tower is located at the north-western corner of the Grote Markt (Main Square), is part of the Martinikerk (Martini Church). The citizens of Groningen call their tower d'Olle Grieze, meaning the old grey one in the local dialect. It is considered one of the main tourist attractions of Groningen and offers a great view over the city and surrounding area.

















The best thing about Groningen is that all the famous attractions are concentrated at one location. So this make it easy for us. We just need to see the tower, the Martini Tower and the Herestraat,the main shopping street and we are more or less done with Groningen.

Groningen is probably my third favourite city of all times.The reason why I liked Groningen so much is because the food there is great. FYI,It is famous for the food. Barcelona is in this area too. I will blog about it soon. One of the things I will miss is the food and wine over there. Yum yum. Our fav - Kibbeling with Joppiesaus!

Europe 2008 -Amsterdam

Since I am having a little bit of jet lag now, I shall attempt to write a short entry on our first stop Amsterdam,Holland.

There is really nothing much in Amsterdam except for us to transit to Spain. However, I liked the weather when I first stepped foot outside of the train.It was freaking cold when we were there.A first taste of winter I reckon?

We took the map of Amsterdam city and went around exploring this city eagerly, like children going around the chocolate factory looking for their favourite favours.
























Nothing interesting to add on. The following day, we went to a nearby town called Groningen to meet Mommy from Holland. Stay tune!
